October Traditions

Last year my husband and I started several new traditions for October. We usually go on a double date to a haunted house and we also make carmel apples and carve pumpkins with our family. This year was a lot of fun because the boys are a little older and they get really excited when Derek and I visit.

Last year we didn't have a double broiler so our apples were coated in carmel so hard that I was afraid it would pull the fillings in my teeth off. The apples were so hard they would have shattered if we had dropped them on the ground.

This year Braxton was really excited about decorating his apple with reeses pieces, milk chocolate and white chocolate. We all had a blast as we tried to create something different with our apples. My brother Steve got a little sick after eating his apple (it was triple coated in a variety of candy).

Afterwards we carved pumkins, unfortunately by that time my battery of my camera died.

We'll be having our family Halloween party this Friday, we're so excited to get dressed up.

Mi vida loca

It's been awhile since my last post. I'm so tired, I go to bed each night at 12am and it isn't helping me get to work on time. I pretty much just work...my life isn't too exciting, speaking of work I'll be starting my new part-time job this week. I'm a Youth Coordinator for YOUTH CITY. It's going to be my fun, service-oriented, make a difference in this world job. I've been wanting to do more service, but my time is limited so I decided to feel good about my service to high risk youth and get paid for it (it'll be my bonus for stress related to human behavior).
THE END

Family photos

We received our photos from our photography today and these are just a few of my favorites.

We could not get Skofeild to look at the camera for anything, in this shot he is staring at Audric.

My husband looks so hot in this picture!

Audric is such a cute kid (so is Braxten), hopefully my children are as cute as our niece and nephews if so I'll have to talk Derek into having more than two children!

The family photos were difficult because we couldn't get everyone to look at the camera.
